FiberLink Services

High Capacity Internet - up to 6 Mbps Internet

The Sandersville High Capacity Internet Service operating at speeds up to 6 Mbps (upstream and downstream) is offered to commercial and governmental customers within the City of Sandersville's fiber optic service area for the purpose of providing fiber based Internet access with high capacity, minimal interruptions, speed and accuracy.  The City of Sandersville provides each customer with the appropriate termination equipment (fiber transceiver and router) so that the customer can plug their equipment (PC, hub, etc.) into the Sandersville FiberLink service via a 10 Mb standard RJ45 port.

Your FiberLink High Capacity Internet Service Includes:

• Fast Service!! - Speeds up to 6 Mbps (upstream and downstream)
• Reliable Service!! - Fiber delivered to your location
• Internet connectivity for up to ten (10) Customer PC's
• One Static IP Address
• Ten E-mail Accounts
• Domain Name Service (DNS)
• One Backup Dial-Up Internet Account

Pricing for High Capacity Internet Service is $80 a month.  Additional charges may apply on an individual case basis for customers outside of Sandersville's existing fiber optic network.

• Additional Static IPs (above 1)  
• Domain Name Registration

* For each additional PC (above 10) purchased, one E-mail account will be included free of charge.

Ethernet Transport

The Sandersville Ethernet Transport Service is offered to commercial and governmental customers within the City of Sandersville's fiber optic service area for the purpose of transporting data between two or more customer locations.  This service includes point to point and/or multipoint Ethernet transport connectivity operating at speeds up to 10Mbps or 100 Mbps.  The City of Sandersville provides each customer with the appropriate termination equipment (fiber transceiver and router) so that the customer can plug their equipment (PC, hub, etc.) into the Sandersville FiberLink service via a 10Mbps or 100Mbps standard RJ45 port.
 
Ethernet Transport Service is $225 a month for the 10 Mbps Option or $350 a month for the 100Mbps Option.  Additional charges may apply on an individual case basis.  Installation charges will be waived for customers within the existing service territory of Sandersville's fiber network. Additional charges may apply for customers outside of Sandersville's existing fiber optic network.

Private Line Transport (DS-1 and DS-3)

This High Capacity Private Line Transport Service is offered to commercial and governmental customers within the City of Sandersville's fiber optic service area for the purpose of transporting DS-1 (1.5Mbps) and/or DS-3 (45 Mbps) data between two or more customer locations.  The City of Sandersville provides each customer with the appropriate termination equipment - fiber transceiver and RJ45 (DS-1) / Coax (DS-3) so that the customer can plug their equipment (PC, modem, hub, etc.) into the Sandersville FiberLink service.
 
Standard pricing for Private Line Transport Service will be done on an individual case basis  based upon the customer's location.  Installation charges will be waived for customers within the existing service territory of Sandersville's fiber network. Additional charges may apply on an individual case basis for customers outside of Sandersville's existing fiber optic network.

Dark Fiber - Unlimited Transport Bandwidth

Dark Fiber Service is offered to commercial and governmental customers within the City of Sandersville's fiber optic service area for the purpose of transporting high capacity data between two  or more customer locations.  In this scenario, the customer would typically own the equipment needed to interface with the City of Sandersville's dark fiber.  The City of Sandersville provides each customer with the appropriate fiber termination equipment (SC, ST, or equivalent connectors as per the customer specifications).
 
Dark Fiber Service will be priced on an individual case basis - based upon the number, type, and location of fibers needed by the customer.

Dedicated Internet - Unlimited Internet Bandwidth

Dedicated Internet Service operating at speeds defined by the customer is offered to commercial and governmental customers within the City of Sandersville's fiber optic service area for the purpose of providing fiber based Internet access with high capacity, minimal interruptions, speed and accuracy.

Using this service, the customer can get dedicated fibers and a dedicated Ethernet port back to the City of Sandersville's primary Internet Service Provider (ISP). The City of Sandersville provides each customer with the appropriate termination equipment (fiber transceiver and router) so that the customer can plug their equipment (PC, hub, etc.) into the Sandersville FiberLink service via a 10 Mb or 100Mb standard RJ45 port (as defined by the customer).

• Fast Service!! - Unlimited Bandwidth (Speed defined by Customer)
• Reliable Service!! - Fiber delivered to your location
• Internet connectivity for up to ten (10) Customer PC's
• One Static IP Address
• Ten E-mail Accounts
• Domain Name Service (DNS)
• One Back-Up Dialup Internet Account

Dedicated Internet Service will be priced on an individual case basis - based upon the amount of Internet IP needed and the customer's location.   Installation charges will be waived for customers within the existing service territory of Sandersville's fiber network. Additional charges may apply on an individual case basis for customers outside of Sandersville's existing fiber optic network
